Spiritual Life

All students of Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary (CACTS), Ile Ife should behave in a manner testifying to their call and not as other non-Christian institutions or organisations. Exemplary conduct is expected of every student. Immoral conduct, cheating, use of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, illegal drugs, and foul language are forbidden.

Personal Devotion

As God’s servant in training, it is very important to know His Word and His will for your life and to maintain maximum,personal fellowship with Him. Each student is therefore expected to have daily devotion, which includes reading and meditation on the Word of God accompanied by prayers and fasting as the Spirit leads.

Chapel and Prayer Meetings

The daily corporate devotion hour is from10.00a.m.to11.00 a.m. every day but on Fridays. Every Thursday, a vigil is held from 11.00 p.m. to 2.00 a.m. On Fridays, the community holds a Tarry meeting with fasting and prayers from 12 noon to 2 p.m. before the commencement of lectures for Weekend students.The Sunday worship service comes up between 8.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m.
Except a student is sick or for any other reason known to the School Authority, prompt and regular participation of all students is not only required but also compulsory.Students are enjoined to actively participate and ensure enlistment into any of the units under the Chaplaincy like Protocol, Sunday school/Bible study, choir, media and press, etc.
