Accreditations and Affiliations

Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary has credible accreditations and affiliations.

Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary started with an academic affiliation with the University of Ibadan that was accredited and approved by the National Universities Commission. The University of Ibadan, which was founded in 1948 as University College Ibadan (one of the colleges within the University of London), holds the distinction of being the first University and the oldest degree-awarding institution in Nigeria. The history and influence of the University of Ibadan have made it one of the most prestigious Universities in Africa.

Currently, Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary is affiliated with Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), a faith-based private University established by the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Nigeria and Overseas in 2004and approved on February 8, 2006. JABU is duly accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). The University which is named after the first General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church, Joseph Ayo Babalola is located at Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State, Nigeria and adjudged the First Entrepreneurial University in Nigeria.

Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary, Ile Ife is also in the process of affiliation and accreditation with the Association for Christian Theological Education in Africa (ACTEA) to broaden its reach and appeal beyond the shores of Nigeria. ACTEA offers academic accreditation of theological programmes through a rigorous process of quality assurance and accountability in addition to institutional networking and support services.
